You can get rid of this horror by opening your registry and navigating to the following key: My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run There you will find the following entry: MVS Splash (C:\Program Files\McAfee\Managed VirusScan\Agent\Splash.exe). Delete it! Just think of it - making a special executable that does absolutely nothing useful (at least for the user) and putting it there to run. Pure idiocy!!! Creep begone!!!

You can get rid of this horror by opening your registry and navigating to the following key:
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

There you will find the following entry:
MVS Splash (C:\Program Files\McAfee\Managed VirusScan\Agent\Splash.exe).

Delete it!

Just think of it – making a special executable that does absolutely nothing useful (at least for the user) and putting it there to run. Pure idiocy!!!
